Susannah Solt, founder

Susannah qualified with a First Class Honours Degree in Physiotherapy from Manchester University in 1994.  She gained a wealth of experience in many different areas of physiotherapy working for the NHS in central London, before she moved into private practice in West Kent where she later established Active Now Physiotherapy.  She was Physiotherapist to the British Para Equestrian Team between 1998-2000 and has worked as a National Classifier for Disabled Sport.  She moved Active Now Physiotherapy to Warwick 14 years ago.

Susannah is proud to have been awarded the title of Quality Assured Practitioner by Physio First, and the clinic is one of a very few Quality Assured Clinics in Warwickshire.  This ground-breaking scheme, in conjunction with the University of Brighton, measures the quality of the physiotherapy you receive, and compares it to a national baseline.  As one of the first clinics in the country to receive this award, Susannah is always looking to bring the most up to date, evidence-based treatment to you.  She regularly attends post-graduate courses and conferences, and organises Continous Professional Development events for other physiotherapists too, sourcing the most relevant speakers on a wide range of clinical topics.

She has a particular interest in TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problems and face pain.

My job is endlessly interesting and hugely satisfying. I enjoy the challenge of putting together the pieces of the jigsaw to work out the 'driver' of the problem and what to do about it
